I had a normal second delivery under Dr Renu Sehgal on 28 November, and would highly recommend her. My first delivery was also normal in UK, and this time around people really scared us, that in India doctors usually go for c- section. Dr Renu’s recommendation came to us from Dr. Sarika Raj, a wonderful paediatrician herself. On our first visit, honestly, we found her to be very talkative:) but really, she is just large hearted and full of life. Her team, goes an extra mile to make sure you are comfortable in your ante natal care. It’s not just medical care, your queries are answered most patiently. In the end, my blood pressure shot, so I was induced and Dr Renu was there with me throughout, consoling me, encouraging me and even taking me to the washroom. When she says ‘beta’ you feel your mum is there with you on labour room. I had a beautiful delivery with a healthy baby girl. But the next morning, I could feel shooting pain in my lower back. Once she came to see me, I told her, this was the only pain I could feel, and she immediately ordered for an x-ray. My back showed a tail bone ligament strain which could never have been detected, if not for her timely instincts and I would have continued in pain. She explained the care to my family and ensured I had full support. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful doctor and even better human being. Kudos to her team too for being such a great team… They literally hand holded me through this child birth. Highly recommend Dr. Renu Sehgal from my end!
